PathDroid

Pathdroid is a framework to analyze binary Android applications for program defects and malicious behaviors.

Pathdroid is based on the Java Pathfinder (JPF) verification system (http://babelfish.arc.nasa.gov/trac/jpf), and thus provides model checking capabilities for applications that are distributed as standard Android .dex or .apk files.

At the core of Pathdroid is a implementation of the Android (Dalvik) bytecode instruction set that emulates a Dalvik virtual machine (VM) instead of a Java VM, but otherwise re-uses and supports JPF infrastructure such as listeners and native peers
