Dr. Kristin Y. Rozier completed training to become a NASA Technical Recruiter and served in this position at the Santa Clara University (SCU) 2013 Winter Engineering Career Fair on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Dr. Rozier was responsible for talking to undergraduate students, graduate students, and SCU alumni about internships, civil service positions, and contract positions at NASA. She discussed her research and possibilities for computer scientists and computer engineers at NASA in general, and in Code TI in particular.
The Engineering Fair was well attended by both students and alumni of SCU. The NASA table was staffed by four representatives, Michelle N. Inouye (Human Resources), and three engineers: Christopher Maese (Code SC), Kristin Y. Rozier (Code TI), and Vern C. Vanderbilt (Code SGE).
BACKGROUND: Dr. Kristin Yvonne Rozier is a research computer scientist contributing research to the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) Air Traffic Management project of the Airspace Systems Program. She focuses on automated techniques for formal specification and verification of safety-critical systems.
