Nikunj Oza and John Sprague (NASA HQ) Named to Cognyltica's 50 U.S. Federal Government AI Influencers List

Nikunj Oza (Data Sciences Group leader) and John Sprague (Deputy Associate CIO, Technology, Data & Innovation Division) were named to Cognilytica’s 50 US Federal Government AI Influencers list for 2019. “The U.S. Federal Government continues to invest in AI and move the industry forward. In this post, Cognilytica shares some of the key people in U.S. Federal Government working to move the adoption of AI forward across the industry.” This list, together with prior years’ lists and the President’s Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence, concisely highlight the U.S. Federal Government’s commitment to using Artificial Intelligence for its missions. BACKGROUND: Cognilytica is a company that provides “Real-world, industry and adoption-focused market research and intelligence on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Technologies.” Their analysts publish research reports, white papers, and briefings at regular intervals that are available to their annual subscribers as well as for one-off purchase. Cognilytica also works on commissioned research projects, white papers for internal or external consumption, and speaking engagements at client events or public conferences.
