Diana Acosta was invited to speak at the Vodafone Enterprise Studio Innovation Event on the “Innovation In Practice: Women Leaders Discuss Innovation” Panel on March 22, 2017, in Redwood City, California. The all-woman panel of innovation leaders was moderated by Sheila Babnis (Advisor, formerly Genentech), and included Elizabeth Glenewinkel (Salesforce), Marine Leroux (Thomas Reuters), Karen Lee (Humana) and Diana Acosta (NASA) as panelists. The conversation prompted by the moderator and audience delved into innovation initiatives, desired qualities and metrics for innovation, key attributes of a successful innovation practitioner — and if those skills can be taught, executive roles in leading innovation, and scaling innovation through partnerships. The event was attended by over forty professionals. Attendees rated the event 4.5 out of 5 stars.
