NFM is Going Virtual!

Due to concerns about COVID-19, NFM 2020 will shift to a virtual symposium. While we are still pursuing a physical gathering at the NFM 2020 planned venue in addition to the virtual meeting, we realize this may not be possible. This unfortunate event gives us the opportunity to innovate on how to host an effective remote conference. We are working to create a virtual symposium that will be engaging for the presenters and the attendees. We will provide details on the virtual symposium shortly. We expect to use one of the common virtual meeting platforms such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, etc.

Presentation of Accepted Papers

Please see Author Instructions on the side menu for presentation guidelines.

All participants, including invited speakers, presenters of accepted papers, and workshop participants, are required to register via the registration link. The participation link (Adobe Connect) and other connection information will be emailed out to registered participants prior to the conference. The international visitor paperwork is not required anymore for virtual attendance.

Regarding the registration process:

  • If you have already sent your international visitor paperwork, no further actions will be taken; the applications that are in the queue will remain in place and allowed to expire.
  • If you have not sent your international paperwork, there is no need to send it.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that NFM does not have any registration fee. We invite the formal methods and aligned communities to use this opportunity of a virtual symposium to participate and engage in a very exciting set of paper presentations and fascinating keynote talks. We would encourage you to encourage your colleagues, students, and collaborators to register soon to help us estimate the size of our audience and make suitable virtual conference arrangements.

The workshop organizers will send more details about the workshops, but it is expected that these will follow a similar virtual format to the main conference.
