Machine Learning Workshop 2017

29~31 August 2017

Workshop Goal

The goal of the workshop is to give NASA

scientists, technologists, and program

managers, most of whom have expertise in

various domain sciences and technologies,

an understanding of what machine learning

can do for these fields. This will be done both

for the current state of the art in machine

learning and for maturing machine learning

capabilities. The workshop will explore what

NASA’s role is in advancing machine learning

for its missions, how that role should or could

evolve, and how NASA can engage with

academia, industry, and others in advancing

machine learning.
