During the System Assembly Integration & Test phase the project team completes the system and subsystem development and proceeds to Integration, Testing and V&V. These activities focus on preparing for the Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Operational Readiness Review (ORR).

• Implement the Project Plan
• Develop requisite system and subsystem test beds needed for qualification and acceptance testing of software components.
• Begin system assembly, and integration.
• Begin preparing "as-built" and "as-deployed" software documentation,
• Complete a baseline Operations Handbook to support the operations team.
• Prior to the project independent life-cycle reviews for this phase, conduct internal reviews as defined by the project’s planned software assurance activities.
• Plan, prepare for, and support the project independent life-cycle reviews for this phase in accordance with NPR 7123.1, Center practices, and the requirements of this document.
