Projects

Apex has been selected as a core agent technology for key projects; here are some of these. The Autonomous Rotorcraft Project and Intelligent Mission Management project use Apex as an intelligent behavior component to control unmanned autonomous vehicles. Apex is also used as an agent modeling tool in human-computer interaction (HCI) analysis, including the CPM-GOMS cognitive model and two HCI simulators: the Virtual Airspace Modeling Simulator (VAMS) and the Man-machine Integration Design and Analysis System (MIDAS) simulator. Sherpa provides support for debugging, analyzing, and demonstrating agent behavior using Apex.
