Ritchie Lee is a researcher at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley campus at NASA Ames Research Center. His research interests are in intelligent controls & estimation, aircraft simulation, and probabilistic modeling with a focus on autonomous systems. As part of the Adaptive Control and Evolvable Systems (ACES) group in Ames' Intelligent Systems Division (Code-TI), Ritchie is currently involved with two research projects: SWIFT UAS project, and the Verification & Validation of Flight Critical Systems project under NASA's Aviation Safety program.
Ritchie's past involvements include game theoretic modeling of human decision-makers, development of small spacecraft and microrovers, unmanned ground and underwater vehicles, embedded systems for helicopter aerobotics, manipulators, as well as a multitude of industry experience.
Ritchie holds an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Waterloo.
