Bio
Dr. John L. Bresina is a member of the Autonomous Systems and Robotics technical area and has over twenty-five years of R&D experience in planning, scheduling, and execution and eighteen years of NASA experience. Dr. Bresina was Deputy Lead (and is current Lead) of the MAPGEN project for the MER mission and was a full-time member of MER operations staff as Tactical Activity Planner. In addition to the MER mission, Dr. Bresina is currently contributing to the following missions: Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), Phoenix, and Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS). Dr. Bresina earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rutgers University, under Dr. Saul Amarel.
